This course coincides with the “Lake Shikotsu Hyoto Festival,” a festival of ice held on the shores of Lake Shikotsu each winter. The objects of ice are made from Lake Shikotsu’s clear water, and illuminated with a myriad of colored lights creating a fantastic and mystical atmosphere!

- Please note that our duration at a tourist attraction may be shortened if there are delays due to traffic congestion. Furthermore, if our arrival time to Lake Shikotsu is delayed, we may not have time to visit the Ice Festival.
- The venue is very slippery so please watch your step.
- The venue is also very cold; please be sure to dress warmly.
- Please note that this course does not stop at New Chitose Airport or Minami Chitose.
- There are also no rest areas or gift shops at the venue.
- The Lake Shikotsu Ice Festival is held within the Lake Shikotsu Hot Spring Village, which has several stores. However, most stores may close by 17:00.
For light snaks or small meals, we recommend purchasing them either upon arrival at Lake Shikotsu or beforehand at the Wattsu Service Area.
◎Lake Shikotsu is very cold, so please dress warmly.
◎Tour will be cancelled when there is no reservation by 18:00 the day before. *(In some cases the time will be shortened to earlier than 18:00 for some courses.)
◎Duration of tour may change depending on traffic congestion or number of passengers.
◎Arrival time will be earlier than scheduled time due to the closed days or limit on tours at each facility.
◎Buses may be delayed due to traffic congestion and adverse weather, so please allow ample time for transfer to other means of transportation.
◎Tours may be cancelled due to the disasters. Please inquire about operation schedule during adverse weather.
